Radiesse, Hands

Radiesse gives hands more youthful appearance

Radiesse brings a youthful appearance back to your hands. The treatment provides an immediate volumizing effect that helps to reduce the prominence of tendons and veins in the hands, delivering smooth, natural-looking results that can last up to a year.

Sound amazing? Come learn more about this amazing treatment at Naples Laser and MedSpa’s Lunch & Learn on June 29 from 12 to 2 p.m. at our Bonita Springs location. The event will feature a live demonstration and special event pricing.Radiesse, Hands

As we age, we tend to fixate on the appearance of our face. There are numerous products on the market to reduce facial wrinkles, folds and spots. However, besides the face and neck, no area of the body shows the appearance of aging as clearly as the back of the hands.

As we age, the collagen and fat in the hands dissipates. This volume loss makes tendons more obvious and veins more visible. This results in our hands appearing bony and unattractive.

The loss of smoothness and plumpness in the hands is a natural and unavoidable part of the aging process. We can slow down the aging process, by regularly moisturizing our hands and using sunscreen daily.

Radiesse can dramatically improve the appearance of aging hands. It is the only dermal filler proven to immediately restore volume loss in the back of hands for smooth, natural-looking results that won’t give away your age. It is the first and only filler deemed safe and effective by the FDA to correct lost volume in hands.

Radiesse: How does it work?

The Radiesse treatment provides lift in the areas below deep wrinkles and folds, diminishing their appearance for a more refreshed look.

The hand and facial filler works to add volume under the skin, and over time, the benefits of Radiesse continue by stimulating your body’s own natural collagen.

The treatment takes only a few minutes and results can be soon immediately.

Afterwards, hands appear more youthful. The treatment reduces the appearance of tendons and veins and hands appear smoother and plumper.

Want to find out more or experience Radiesse for yourself? Make sure to make plans attend our Lunch and Learn on June 29 from 12 to 2 p.m. We will be doing a live demonstration of the Radiesse hand treatment, so you can see the results for yourself. We are also offering $100 off the treatment as well as other event-only specials. Make sure to reserve your spot by calling 239-228-7491.

Injectables combat aging without surgery

Injectables provide a way to combat aging without drastic plastic surgery. Whether your goal is to instantly add volume to sunken cheekbones, fill in deep lines, reduce the appearance of wrinkles or add beautiful contours, the professionals at Naples Laser and MedSpa will work with you to help you achieve great results.Injectables

Heard about injectables, but want to learn more? This month’s Lunch & Learn on May 25 from 12-2 pm will discuss “The Artistry of Injectables.” The event features a live model demonstration with Pam Neitzel, owner and founder of Naples Laser and Medspa. She boasts more than 13 years experience in the industry and is a national trainer and educator on advanced techniques with injectables and laser techniques.

Injectables – What are the differences?

Both Botox and facial fillers are both effective methods of improving signs of aging. People often confuse them with each other and consider them to be synonymous. The truth is they tackle specific and different problems.

Botox’s primarily treats and prevents facial wrinkles. The FDA approved Botox as a cosmetic treatment for frown lines above the eyebrows and wrinkles. Botox reduces the activity of muscles in the face that cause wrinkles.

Facial fillers or dermal fillers get used to prevent or eliminate signs of aging in the face, such as wrinkles. Facial fillers fill trouble areas with collagen, which stimulates collagen growth in the face and also plumps and lifts the skin to replace collagen loss. This helps your skin achieve as youthful a look as possible and eliminates signs of aging that occur as a result of collagen depletion.

The important things to consider when choosing between Botox and facial fillers is what kind of wrinkles you want to get rid of and how you plan to do it. Botox remains the better choice for dynamic wrinkles as it will reduce their motion and visibility. These wrinkles occur when the face is in motion or making expression. They are usually positioned in the forehead and around the eyebrows. Facial fillers are ideal for static wrinkles, which are visible even when you relax your face and make no expressions. These areas appear depleted and sunken in and benefit from the fullness that facial fillers provide.

We offer many different types of injectables, including Belotero, Botox, Dysport, Juvederm, Juvederm Ultra Plus, Juvederm Voluma XC, Kybella, Radiesse, Restylane, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Silk and Sculptra at both our Bonita Springs and Naples locations.

Life moves by quickly and sometimes all you can do is just try to keep up. There are work, family, home, financial and other commitments we all have to meet. We all find times when we want life to slow down for a moment just so we can relax.

The struggle to keep up with everything takes its toll on the mind and body. Symptoms of stress include tense and stiff muscles, which leave you feeling uncomfortable. Exercise and sleep ease some symptoms of stress, but maybe you need another way to bring your body into better balance.

A massage may be the answer to bring relief to your aching muscles and body. The process increases and improves circulation and relaxes the muscles. It enables the body to release toxins from within muscles that cause stiffness and mild pain. Massage therapy works on all parts of the body, including the back, shoulders, neck, head, arms, hands, legs and feet.

When considering a massage, you want to choose a person who knows the proper techniques. A licensed massage therapist specializes in massages and ensures you receive proper treatment for your body.

The massage therapist presses, rubs and manipulates the skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments. Massages range from light stroking to deep pressure. Application of scented oils and lotions soothes the skin and heightens the senses to provide calming sensations to the body.

If you live or work in the Naples or Bonita Springs area, why not stop at Naples Laser and MedSpa on your way home and start your evening off right. Reduce the stress of the day before going home. You’ll feel more relaxed.

Massage types

Swedish massages combine long soothing strokes to relieve stress, aches and pains while improving circulation and a sense of wellbeing.

Deep Tissue Massage uses deeper pressure to reach the inner layers of the muscles. Often sports or exercise enthusiasts find relief from deep tissue massage. Therapists customize the technique to target specific areas of pain or concern.

During Hot Stone Massage, the massage therapist places warm basalt or Himalayan stone on the body in targeted locations. The heat penetrates the muscles, causing them to relax and start the healing process.

Reflexology focuses on specific pressure points in the feet. These points correspond to organs and specific systems in the body. Pressing the points relieves a variety of symptoms.

Halo, NapleBonita Springs, FL

Halo can help restore a radiant, youthful glow

Halo laser treatments can help restore a youthful glow that may have dimmed over the years. Or, perhaps your time in the Southwest Florida sun has damaged your smooth skin and you need to liven your skin’s luster.Halo, NapleBonita Springs, FL

Sun spots, fine lines, wrinkles and other skin damage can make some people look an age beyond their years. Halo can help. We’re happy to say it’s now among our services.

We’re also offering an opportunity for you to learn more about it during a Lunch & Learn on March 30, 2017, at the Naples Laser and Med Spa Bonita location, 24850 S. Tamiami Trail, St. 4, Bonita Springs. Seats are limited and reservations are required. Call 239-228-7491 to reserve a space.

Halo treatments help heal damage to skin so shallow past laser treatments couldn’t address it with any precision and too deep it was previously too difficult to address. In addition, it provides customizable treatments that more precisely target damage, improving your skin’s tone and texture while smoothing fine lines and wrinkles.

Halo benefits

Halo treatments do more than just eliminate flaws like wrinkles and sun blotches. It restores the luminous glow to your skin to make you look young again. Halo makes your face brighten by reducing pore size and increasing your skin’s reflectivity.

Furthermore, it provides flexibility in recovery time. Do you need to be back in the office the day after a treatment? Your clinician can provide a light treatment that simply smooths out some fine lines and you can follow your regular make-up regimen the next day. Even a more intense treatment requires only a few days of downtown.

Halo treatments allow a precision treatment of fine lines and scar revisions that no other laser treatment in the past could deliver, and Halo achieves these results with less aggressive treatment. Patients in the past typically had to choose a light procedure with a fast recovery time but minimal results or had to go in for a major procedure that could sometimes leave someone healing for weeks.

Halo — Is it right for you?

Halo targets skin damage including discoloration, sun damage, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, enlarged pores, poor skin texture, fine lines and scar revision. Ask your clinician how your skin can get that signature “Halo Glow. “

Dermasmooth | Naples Laser and MedSpa | Naples, FL | Bonita Springs, FL

Dermasmooth gives skin smoother, fresher look

Dermasmooth removes the outermost layer of dead skin cells as well as the small peach fuzz-like hairs often found on the face, leaving a much smoother look and feel.

Dermasmooth | Naples Laser and MedSpa | Naples, FL | Bonita Springs, FLA Dermasmooth treatment involves scraping a surgical blade against the skin. It may not sound like it but it is a gentle procedure. The light scraping removes dead skin cells on the surface of the skin as well as the tiny vellus hairs on the face.

The process increases cellular turnover and encourages skin rejuvenation. The results are immediate and there is no recovery time, which means it could be done during your lunch hour.

Since Dermasmooth removes the top barriers of the skin, products placed on the skin will penetrate much deeper, making them more effective. You will find your makeup application looks more flawless. Better yet, you won’t be left with the typical redness of traditional microdermabrasion treatments.

Dermasmooth – is it right for you?

The treatment is ideal for all skin types because everyone’s skin sheds dead cells. Those people with oily or sun-damaged skin or who have hyperpigmentation, are acne prone, have large pores or suffer from bothersome facial hair will find great benefits from this treatment.

Dermasmooth treatments typically last 30-45 minutes. Afterwards, a product will be applied to your skin to brighten, hydrate, and protect your skin from UV damage. The effects will last approximately one month.

In March, we are combining our Dermasmooth treatment with a hydrating facial for $99. It provides a great way to indulge your skin and try out both treatments.

If you have an interest in Dermasmooth or any other MedSpa treatment, give us a call at 239-228-7491 and set up an appointment at our location in Naples at 898 5th Ave. S. Suite 204, or Bonita Springs at 24850 S. Tamiami Trail, Suite 4.

Light therapy at Naples Medspa

Light therapy allows skin cells to heal naturally

Light therapy uses your skin cells own natural ability to promote anti-aging effects.

With the engagement of healing, reparative medical light face therapy, your skin goes through a process similar to photosynthesis, converting light energy already found in your skin cells to reduce the appearance of fine lines, blemishes, and skin degradation. This therapy is a non-surgical alternative to plastic surgery, while still maintaining the skin’s elasticity and smooth texture.

Light therapy at Naples Medspa

There are two light therapies we offer at Naples Laser and MedSpa – red and blue light. Each has their own reparative benefits; however, each are beneficial for your skin’s health. Red light treatment can aid healing of a variety of skin and medical conditions. This spectrum of light aids in reducing physical pain, particularly headaches, as well as filling in lines by stimulating collage, treating acne and other skin blemishes, and minimizing the effects of Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.)

Red light therapy activates adenosine triphosphate (ATP) which is found in your muscle tissue and provides energy for movement at the molecular level. This generates more energy for your body to repair any damage. NASA conducted a two-year trial that showed a 96% likelihood of reducing pain in patients with cancer through the use of this light technology.

On the other side of the light spectrum, there is blue light therapy. This process works mostly on the skin’s surface and can kill bacteria that causes acne and inflammation of the skin, as well as dry patches that could lead to skin cancer, according to leading dermatologists.

When you speak with our specialist, you can decide whether you would like one or both light therapies that we offer during your session, depending on your specific needs. Be assured that red and blue light therapy transmits no harmful ultraviolet radiation and is safe for all skin types. Depending on your skin’s needs, you can discuss how many sessions are recommended to ensure your satisfaction. Many clients notice results as soon as four days after their first treatment of light therapy.

body contouring

Body contouring reduces stubborn fat noninvasively

Body contouring  helps reduce stubborn, fatty areas on your body through a non-invasive procedure. Even with a healthy diet and exercise routine, you still might have a few bothersome trouble spots. At Naples Laser and MedSpa, this is one of several firming-contouring treatments we offer.

We offer the most state-of-the-art body contouring procedures called cavitation. This machine was released in 2014 to the U.S. market, after many years in Australia. Through the combination of its cellulose and lipo-heads, and red/yellow light therapy, it offers additional skin tightening and lymphatic drainage of fatty cells.

Body contouringCavitation destroys excess fatty cells, specifically adipose, and reduces the appearance of cellulite without painful, invasive tactics. The transducer machine massages specific areas and ultrasonic vibrations heat up and make bubbles of the fat cells, which eventually burst. The fatty acids and any toxins present in the area are released through your lymphatic system. These compounds are naturally metabolized into energy for the body or waste that leaves the body in a specified length of time after the procedure is completed.

Not only is body contouring a painless procedure, but it is also relatively quick. The treatment is usually performed for 40 minutes per treatment area. However, there are some preliminary procedures you should do before each session.

We recommend a 7 to 10-day lymphatic/liver detox and clean diet prior to commencing a series of treatments, a clean healthy diet, low in carbohydrate & fat, rich in clean proteins. Please refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages during the treatment period. Drink plenty of water (at least 1/2 of your body weight, in ounces of water). Because fat waste is eliminated through the lymphatic system, clients should stimulate it with light exercise prior to the session (moderate paced walking, rebound jumping, or electrical muscle stimulation.

In most cases the results from body contouring can be seen immediately with just one 40-minute treatment. Most clients have between 6-10 treatments spaced 4-7 days between treatments for optimum results.

Please note that this procedure is not suited for every body, as it might have harmful effects on those with heart issues, metal implants for health issues, and those who have or have had cancer.
Those with HIV/AIDS or a compromised immune system, including women who are nursing are not a good candidate for treatment.

Reach out to us if you have questions or concerns about this service. We are happy to schedule an appointment with you at Naples Laser and MedSpa. Our locations are in Bonita Springs and Naples, Florida. Call us today at 239-228-7491.

Photo facial, light blasting treatments

Light Blasting procedure treats aging, sun damage

It may sound strange that light can be used to reduce damage done by sunlight, but light blasting procedures can help combat the effects of sun damage.

At Naples Laser & MedSpa, we can help you acquire your desired results with tailored treatments by one of our experienced team members.

Photo facial, light blasting treatmentsAs you go through the aging process, you may notice the emergence of unwanted dark spots on your skin. They can be caused by acne scarring, sunburns from an active lifestyle spent outside, age spots, even using birth control pills or pregnancy.

One of the most effective procedures is an IPL photo facial. An experienced esthetician delivers a bright blast of light at very high energy levels through a hand-held device to the desired area on your body. An IPL photo facial can treat a variety of skin conditions such as brown spots, broken capillaries, spider veins, and rosacea.

BBL broadband light technology uses the power of pulsed light to deliver exceptional results in photo rejuvenation therapy. By selecting an appropriate wavelength or filter for your desired impact, your provider will be able to treat a broad range of skin conditions caused by skin aging and sun exposure. Your skin will feel like velvet, more vibrant and you will have a more youthful appearance as a result.

The light energy delivered by the BBL gently heats the top layers of your skin. The heat absorbed by the targeted areas stimulates your skin cells to generate new collagen, the substance that holds your whole body together. This revitalizes your skin to its natural beauty. In addition, the photothermic energy will target and eliminate many of the fine vessels that cause redness (rosacea) and the unwanted melanin which leads to darker-pigmented lesions (sun and age spots).

Any area of the body can be treated, however, the most common areas are those most exposed to the damaging effects of the sun. The most popular treatments are for the face, neck, back of the hands, chest and shoulders.

Clients should anticipate the process to their desired results should take from 2 to 5 treatments, at 1-2 month intervals. Some individuals may benefit from additional treatments depending on the severity of their condition. This is a non-invasive and gentle procedure with almost no down-time. In most cases you will be able to resume most of your activities immediately.

The procedure is gentle, non-invasive, and safe. There should be little or no discomfort, however this varies from patient to patient and depends on the depth of the treatment. There is usually no need for a topical anesthetic; however, you and your esthetician can discuss this in detail to customize a plan that works for you.

Immediately after the treatment, the treated area may be mildly red. For best prevention of any side effects, we advise wearing clothing that covers your skin completely. If this is not possible, wear a strong sun block. The esthetician performing your procedure will mention any side effects and a plan of action. If symptoms last longer than anticipated or are more severe, please contact our office.

wine therapy at Naples Laser & MedSpa

Wine therapy has its benefits

Wine therapy, to some, might sound too good to be true.

The idea of vinotherapy (wine therapy) was created by Mathilde Cathiard-Thomas and her husband Bertrand Thomas. They discovered the powerful effects of grape seeds, skins and stems on skin from a professor at Pharmacy Faculty of Bordeaux, France.

wine therapy at Naples Laser & MedSpaIn the mid-1990’s, the Thomas’ distributed a line of beauty products made from grape by-products. The couple capitalized on their success with the opening of the world’s first wine spa in 1999. Les Sources de Caudalie is appropriately sited in a castle in the Bordeaux region in France.

At Naples Laser & MedSpa, your experience begins with one of our staff applying oils and dry body brushing your skin. Then, an aromatic Mediterranean honey & wine body masque is applied to gently draw out toxins while you are pampered with a scalp & foot massage.

Hot towels are used to remove the masque before a succulent red wine, grapeseed, & blackberry body polish renews and invigorates your skin. The process concludes with a luscious wine-inspired oil to secure moisture and provide skin-nutrient vitamins and antioxidants. The best part of this treatment is that you can enjoy a glass of wine and receive a wine glass as our gift to you!

This wine ritual is more than a massage, as it has the added benefit of exfoliating dead skin cells from your body. These skin cells tend to make a person’s body and face appear unhealthy. They can also diminish the effects of any topical beauty and healthy products you use. When the clinician performs the foot & scalp massage, they are providing more than relaxation. The most added benefit is increasing blood flow and oxygen to your head and feet, which naturally cleanses your body of unwanted toxins.
