Radiesse, Hands

Radiesse gives hands more youthful appearance

Radiesse brings a youthful appearance back to your hands. The treatment provides an immediate volumizing effect that helps to reduce the prominence of tendons and veins in the hands, delivering smooth, natural-looking results that can last up to a year.

Sound amazing? Come learn more about this amazing treatment at Naples Laser and MedSpa’s Lunch & Learn on June 29 from 12 to 2 p.m. at our Bonita Springs location. The event will feature a live demonstration and special event pricing.Radiesse, Hands

As we age, we tend to fixate on the appearance of our face. There are numerous products on the market to reduce facial wrinkles, folds and spots. However, besides the face and neck, no area of the body shows the appearance of aging as clearly as the back of the hands.

As we age, the collagen and fat in the hands dissipates. This volume loss makes tendons more obvious and veins more visible. This results in our hands appearing bony and unattractive.

The loss of smoothness and plumpness in the hands is a natural and unavoidable part of the aging process. We can slow down the aging process, by regularly moisturizing our hands and using sunscreen daily.

Radiesse can dramatically improve the appearance of aging hands. It is the only dermal filler proven to immediately restore volume loss in the back of hands for smooth, natural-looking results that won’t give away your age. It is the first and only filler deemed safe and effective by the FDA to correct lost volume in hands.

Radiesse: How does it work?

The Radiesse treatment provides lift in the areas below deep wrinkles and folds, diminishing their appearance for a more refreshed look.

The hand and facial filler works to add volume under the skin, and over time, the benefits of Radiesse continue by stimulating your body’s own natural collagen.

The treatment takes only a few minutes and results can be soon immediately.

Afterwards, hands appear more youthful. The treatment reduces the appearance of tendons and veins and hands appear smoother and plumper.

Heard about injectables, but want to learn more? This month’s Lunch & Learn on May 25 from 12-2 pm will discuss “The Artistry of Injectables.” The event features a live model demonstration with Pam Neitzel, owner and founder of Naples Laser and Medspa. She boasts more than 13 years experience in the industry and is a national trainer and educator on advanced techniques with injectables and laser techniques.

Injectables – What are the differences?

Both Botox and facial fillers are both effective methods of improving signs of aging. People often confuse them with each other and consider them to be synonymous. The truth is they tackle specific and different problems.

Botox’s primarily treats and prevents facial wrinkles. The FDA approved Botox as a cosmetic treatment for frown lines above the eyebrows and wrinkles. Botox reduces the activity of muscles in the face that cause wrinkles.

Facial fillers or dermal fillers get used to prevent or eliminate signs of aging in the face, such as wrinkles. Facial fillers fill trouble areas with collagen, which stimulates collagen growth in the face and also plumps and lifts the skin to replace collagen loss. This helps your skin achieve as youthful a look as possible and eliminates signs of aging that occur as a result of collagen depletion.

The important things to consider when choosing between Botox and facial fillers is what kind of wrinkles you want to get rid of and how you plan to do it. Botox remains the better choice for dynamic wrinkles as it will reduce their motion and visibility. These wrinkles occur when the face is in motion or making expression. They are usually positioned in the forehead and around the eyebrows. Facial fillers are ideal for static wrinkles, which are visible even when you relax your face and make no expressions. These areas appear depleted and sunken in and benefit from the fullness that facial fillers provide.

We offer many different types of injectables, including Belotero, Botox, Dysport, Juvederm, Juvederm Ultra Plus, Juvederm Voluma XC, Kybella, Radiesse, Restylane, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Silk and Sculptra at both our Bonita Springs and Naples locations.
